We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ciaran Shanley QFA as Head of Sales at Clear Financial. Ciaran is an Insurance executive with a consistent track record of driving superior results through innovation, execution of fundamentals and people development. Ciaran joined Hibernian Insurance in 1980. In 1983 he took up a position with Shield Life (now Zurich). Over the next 30 years he gained vast industry experience working within all distribution channels. From 2006 to his departure in late 2012 he was responsible for the growth and development of the Zurich Life Direct Sales Division in Ireland.
Ciaran has created step-change improvements in sales performance. Results are tangible and long-lasting. He is a management specialist, who is well versed in recruitment, development, performance management, training, and distribution strategy.
His specialities also include: best practice, impacts of regulation on sales processes, insurance agency sales, sales strategies, business transformation, leadership, direction and control of direct sales team, project leadership and training.
Having recently gained experience of working in the broker market Ciaran has become increasingly aware of the service levels required to be successful in our industry and is determined to provide these in a professional and competent manner within Clear Financial. Ciaran is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and the holder of a Professional Diploma in People Management.
